1st floor framing was done in only 3 days!

There it is, 1st time being in the garage!!!

Wife will park in the right bay somewhere

This shows a 6' wide stairs from the garage to the basement

Basement, round pads will support posts for steel beams above

Waterproofing

Here are the bricks that will be used to cover the front of the house

8 inches of grave in the basement floor. All drain plumbing will be in the grave, and concrete slab on top.

They spray waterproofing and apply R-5 insulation for the foundation

Waterproofing everywhere, comes with a warranty/guarantee

Every part of the foundation must be covered

Foundation is in. The right is where the front porch will go.

Below is where the big open area will be in the basement.

Footing are in

The footings are poured and looking good. Jen and Allison in the picture below give some scale to the whole thing. I am curious as to see how much concrete will be used on the walls.

Allison loves to throw rocks, she's in hog heaven.

Basement below, front porch footings to the left and garage at the far end.

The little square to the right will house the egress window.

Note the french drain all the way around the footing.
