New Garden for 2012

We fought with a lame garden all last year, it was time to do it right.
We built 10 of 4 feet wide by 12 feet long raised beds and brought in nice top soil.
Once we plant, I will put a fence around it to keep deer and bunnies from eating our crop.
Wish us luck!

Logan is getting big!

Logan is growing so fast! He will be 1 year old in April and already weighs 22.5 pounds.
He loves his baths also. Unless he's not feeling well, he's always smiling, what a happy baby!

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Kim

My dad just sent me a photo of my parents' wedding back in Korea.
I vaguely remember seeing this when I was a youngster but never since then.
This is around late 1950's.

Happy New Year!

Happy new year!
I haven't updated the blog in awhile, been too busy.
One of my 2012 goals is to take things easy, and by doing so, I will keep this blog more current.
Allison and Logan are getting along very well. Logan is 21 pounds already at 9 months. He's such a happy baby! Allison got a set of woodworking tools for Christmas. She loves spending time in the basement shop cutting and nailing wood. I hope she continues to explore and becomes my shop buddy.

Baby Boy

I've been ignoring this blog since we moved into the new house.
What can I say, things have been hectic and now you know why.
Born today is a baby boy named Logan Yuchol Kim, 8 pounds 10 ounces!
He's a giant for a Korean baby.
Both mother and baby are doing well and should be home tomorrow.

We moved in!

Sorry for the late update.
We got the keys to the house on September 4th and things have been hectic.
Getting the internet setup at the house, dealing with Jen's pregnancy.
Yes, we just found out that our 2nd child is on the way.

Cheesey smile after getting the key

Fast forward few weeks, father-in-law is helping with the soil preparation for 350 pounds of grass seed

7 days later, lots of green fuzz in the front...

And more fuzz at the rear

Grading the yard

Things are getting close to being done.
I fixed the wiring mistake in the garage over the weekend.
I like to fish but not fishing wires in the finished ceiling.
Allison approves the lighting, it's very bright in there.

Touch-up painting and flooring left inside

Gravel in front of the garage widens

Side yard with a gravel pad for the travel trailer and the tractor
